Truth be told, I "phail" at LiveJournal. I'm inconsistent, I disappear for prolonged lengths of time (without warning), and commenting is sparse outside a pre-existing fandom or fetish. I am NOT the person to rely on for sympathy or compassion, and I rarely involve myself in other users' "personal" drama. I custom design layouts when I find time or inspiration—which isn't often. In addition to "blogging," I manage/maintain a plethora of shrines, and a personal domain known as The Plain Reality Network.
